Choc Chip Cookies

Ingredients;

  • 110g butter, melted
  • 90g brown sugar
  • 50 white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp malted milk powder
  • 150g flour
  • 110g chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • baking paper suitably sized for your air fryer

Method:

  1. Whisk together the melted butter and sugar, then add the egg, vanilla, and Horlicks/malted milk powder, beating until pale.
  2. Fold in the flour, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt until there are no streaks of flour left. Do not overmix.
  3. Press the cookie dough into the lined baking sheet. Bake in the air fryer at 160C for 22mins. You want to slightly underbake these bars for a chewy cookie bar as it will continue to cook as it cools.
  4. Allow the cookies to cool in their tin, then turn out and cut into squares. You can store them in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
