Ingredients;
- 110g butter, melted
- 90g brown sugar
- 50 white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp malted milk powder
- 150g flour
- 110g chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- baking paper suitably sized for your air fryer
Method:
- Whisk together the melted butter and sugar, then add the egg, vanilla, and Horlicks/malted milk powder, beating until pale.
- Fold in the flour, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt until there are no streaks of flour left. Do not overmix.
- Press the cookie dough into the lined baking sheet. Bake in the air fryer at 160C for 22mins. You want to slightly underbake these bars for a chewy cookie bar as it will continue to cook as it cools.
- Allow the cookies to cool in their tin, then turn out and cut into squares. You can store them in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
