It’s a popular choice for those seeking a light, healthy, and flavourful meal. Using your Instant Pot makes the process quick and easy, delivering tender, flaky fish with minimal effort.

Steaming is one of the healthiest cooking methods, as it preserves the fish’s nutrients while keeping its texture moist and delicate. Paired with the bold yet simple ingredients of Chinese cuisine, this dish is as nutritious as it is delicious.

The Benefits of Using an Instant Pot

The Instant Pot takes the guesswork out of steaming fish, ensuring consistent results every time. Its controlled steaming process gently cooks the fish without drying it out, creating a restaurant-quality dish in the comfort of your home. Plus, it’s much faster than traditional steaming methods.

The combination of fresh fish, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil creates a balanced flavour profile that feels indulgent yet light. The dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or when you want to impress guests with an elegant yet simple recipe.

How to Serve Chinese Steamed Fish

To complete the meal, serve your Chinese Steamed Fish with steamed rice and stir-fried greens. The fluffy rice soaks up the flavourful juices from the fish, while the greens provide a satisfying crunch. Together, they create a wholesome and satisfying meal that’s ideal for any occasion.
