- 90g light brown sugar
- 50g white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp malted milk powder
- 150g flour
- 110g Chocolate chips
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Baking paper, suitably sized for your air fryer
Method:
- Grease and line a 9x7 inch. baking tray (or one what will fit your air fryer) then set aside.
- Whisk together the melted butter and sugar, then add the egg, vanilla and malted milk powder, beating until pale.
- Fold in the flour, chocolate chips, baking powder and salt until there are no streaks of flour left. Do not overmix.
- Press the cookie dough into the lined baking sheet. Bake in the air fryer at 160C for 22mins. You want to slightly underbake these bars for a chewy cookie bar as it will continue to cook as it cools.
- Allow the cookies to cool in their tin, then turn out and cut into squares. You can store them in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
